Benjamin Lewis

Benjamin Lewis is a data engineer at Blue Cross & Blue Shield of Mississippi since July 2016, specializing in data pipeline development, data modeling, and relational database query optimization. Previously, Benjamin served as a business intelligence developer and applications programmer, focusing on reporting applications and data transfer processes. Prior experience includes research roles at Mississippi State University, where Benjamin contributed to NASA-funded projects on comet atmospheres and implemented physics experiments under a National Science Foundation grant, leading to published studies. Benjamin holds a Master’s Degree and a Bachelor’s Degree in Physics from Mississippi State University and an Associate of Arts from Hinds Community College.
