Keith Runnels

Keith Runnels is an experienced Systems Engineer with a robust background in system administration and database management. Since May 2006, Keith has worked at BlueCross BlueShield of Tennessee as a Systems Engineer III, initially focusing on HPUX systems and later transitioning to IBM AIX systems along with storage and virtualization technologies. Prior to this, from March 2002 to April 2006, Keith served as a Systems Engineer at McKee Foods Corporation, managing HPUX systems and Oracle DBA responsibilities, particularly for the manufacturing control system that evolved into the Oracle eBusiness Suite module OPM. Keith's career began at Bankers Conseco Life Insurance Company, where from June 1998 to March 2002, a progression from client-server programming and analysis to DBA for various databases including Oracle, Sybase, and SQL Server occurred. Educationally, Keith holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from The University of Southern Mississippi and previously attended Hinds Community College.
