Nathan Young

Nathan Young has a strong background in network engineering and architecture. Nathan began their career at Mohawk Industries as a Hardware Technician in 1999 and later worked as a Network Engineer and Network Supervisor. In 2008, they joined BlueCross BlueShield of Tennessee as a Network Engineer II and progressed to Network Engineer III, where they successfully migrated legacy data centers to Cisco Application Centric Infrastructure (ACI) and designed secure segmented data centers utilizing SDN features. Recently, Nathan has held roles as an Associate Solutions Architect and currently serves as the Principal Network Engineer at BlueCross BlueShield of Tennessee.

Nathan Young has completed an Associate degree in Computer Networking from Dalton State College. Additionally, they have obtained certifications in Cisco Systems, including Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) Data Center in July 2018, Cisco Certified Design Professional (CCDP) in September 2010, Cisco Certified Design Associate (CCDA) in June 2010, Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) in May 2003, Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) in August 2001, and Cisco Certified Specialist – Data Center ACI Implementation in May 2019.
