Benjamin West

Benjamin West, MAS, currently serves as a Wilderness Field Instructor at blueFire Wilderness since April 2023, focusing on client safety, health monitoring, and curriculum delivery. Previously, Benjamin held the role of Airport Manager at Midwest National Air Center from July 2022 to January 2023 and served as Director of Airport Operations/Operations Manager at Kittitas County Airport-Bowers Field from February 2020 to March 2021, where responsibilities included managing budgets, compliance, and airport operations. Early career experience includes working as a Lifeguard for the City of Hattiesburg from May 1988 to August 1992. Benjamin holds a Graduate Certificate in Airport Planning, Design, and Development, a Master's in Aeronautical Science, and a Bachelor's in Professional Aeronautics, all from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University.
