John Mitchell

John Mitchell (he/him) is the VP of Engineering at BlueLabs. Originally from Glasgow, Scotland where he earned his degree in Computing Science, he moved to the USA in 2013 with his wife and two cats. John began his career building cryptographic and analytical systems for medical companies followed later by holding several VP and CISO roles at other firms in engineering and security.

John is passionate about the benefits data can bring to organizations and the tooling and systems designed to support them. In his spare time, John can be found officiating the Women's Flat Track Roller Derby, volunteering in his local community, or improving his accuracy at archery.
