Eric Burgess, MBA

Eric Burgess, MBA, PMP has over 20 years of experience in various leadership and consulting roles. Eric currently serves as the President and Senior Global Consultant at BlueLeap since 2010. In this role, they have successfully integrated cloud-based telephony and messaging services into CX business processes for well-known brands. Notable achievements include leading the migration of Nike's commerce stack to Greater China and facilitating the Agile transformation of applications to Amazon Web Services (AWS) Cloud for Aflac.

Prior to BlueLeap, Eric worked at Infosys Technologies Limited as a Senior Director from 2008 to 2010. Eric was responsible for developing and delivering customized service offerings and proposal-winning value propositions for different verticals. Eric also managed global teams and played a key role in expanding the company's presence in new manufacturing space sub-verticals.

From 2006 to 2008, Eric held leadership positions at NIIT Technologies. As the VP of Mfg and SAP, they oversaw the sales and delivery project life cycle, led budgeting, sales, and marketing teams, and hired and mentored a successful team. Earlier, as the Director of Manufacturing, Eric performed the same responsibilities in a slightly different capacity.

Eric began their career at Genpact in 2004 as a Business Development Manager. There, they transformed the business from an inwardly focused captive unit to a strategic-delivery organization. Eric secured multi-million-dollar revenues through channel relationships with global organizations and successfully piloted business development programs and software technology delivery.

Before joining Genpact, Eric co-founded Seventh Wave Technology in 2000 and served as the COO until 2004. During their tenure, they grew the outsourcing start-up from zero to $5M in revenue, raised $10M in venture capital, and developed strategic vision and business objectives using a balanced scorecard approach.

Eric Burgess obtained their MBA in Finance from Emory University - Goizueta Business School from 2004 to 2006. Prior to their MBA, they completed their BBA in Marketing at the same institution. Additionally, Eric has obtained a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute in April 2023.
