Hussein Sulaiman

Hussein Sulaiman has held various roles throughout their work experience. Hussein is currently an Investment Principal at Jumpstart Disruptive Innovations (JDI) since September 2023. From 2019 to 2020, Hussein worked at Bluenest where they served as an Advisor and later became the Head of Operations. During their time there, they were responsible for setting up commercial and operational processes, managing sales, agent management, customer service, and day-to-day operations. Hussein also built and managed relationships with key partners. Prior to that, Hussein worked at NUS Enterprise as the Programme Head for BLOCK71 Indonesia from 2020 to 2023. Hussein provided oversight and coordination for BLOCK71 programmes in Indonesia and Vietnam, as well as supported the execution of NUS Enterprise programmes in the same regions. Before NUS Enterprise, Hussein worked at Zilingo as a Regional Operations Manager, Operations Manager for Global Business, and Operations Manager for Singapore. Hussein joined Zilingo in 2016 and left in 2019. In 2014, Hussein worked at Lazada Group as a Key Account Manager and also had an intern role. From 2012 to 2013, Hussein worked at BeMyGuest - Tours & Activities as an HR & Operations Manager, and prior to that, had an intern role as well.

Hussein Sulaiman earned a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Chemistry from the National University of Singapore between the years 2009 and 2012.
