包明德 Matt B.

Matt B. has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. 包明德 Matt is currently serving as a Senior Research Analyst at BluePath Labs, specializing in research. Prior to this, they worked as a Contributing Editor for the online publication, Spytalk. Matt also has experience as a Research Fellow at the Jamestown Foundation and as a Census Field Supervisor at the U.S. Census Bureau. 包明德 Matt has previously worked as an Account Manager at a security firm in the SF Bay Area.

Additionally, Matt has founded their own company, Madeira Security Consulting, where they provided China security consulting services and assisted with Asia market entry and doing business in Asia. 包明德 Matt has also held the position of Director, Global Security at Ingevity and served as a Lecturer in History at Portland State University.

Matt B. holds an AB degree in Political Science from the University of California, Berkeley. 包明德 Matt then pursued higher education and obtained an AM degree in Regional Studies, East Asia from Harvard University. Later, they completed their Ph.D. in Government from the University of Sydney. Additionally, they have obtained certifications as an ASIS Member from ASIS International in January 2020 and as a Certified Protection Professional from the American Society for Industrial Security in November 1997.
