Lauren Barnes

Lauren (Geyer) Barnes has extensive experience in the healthcare and pharmaceutical industries. Lauren (Geyer) is currently serving as the Senior Vice President of Strategic Market Development & Access at Blueprint Medicines since February 2023. Prior to that, they held the position of Senior Vice President, Market Access in the same company from April 2019 to February 2023. Lauren also serves as a Board Member & Chair of Commercialization Committee at Ascelia Pharma AB starting May 2020. In addition, they have held prominent leadership roles such as Chair of the Board of Directors at Cancer Support Community since January 2013 and Vice President of Managed Markets at Vertex Pharmaceuticals from February 2015 to April 2019. Lauren has also served in various senior positions at Avalere Health, Amgen Inc., Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services, and Vector Research.

Lauren (Geyer) Barnes holds a Bachelor's degree in public health from The Johns Hopkins University. Lauren (Geyer) has also pursued further education at the same institution and has obtained a Master of Health Science (MHS) degree in Health Policy.
