Michael Martin

Michael Martin has a diverse work experience in the pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical industry. Michael started their career as a Professional Pharmaceutical Representative at Johnson & Johnson, where they sold and marketed pharmaceutical products to physicians from 2006 to 2010. Michael then worked at Deloitte as a Manager from 2012 to 2015, leading engagement work focused on supporting clients in the Life Sciences & Healthcare sector. Following that, they joined Horizon Pharma plc as a Manager, where they led the post-merger integration of assets and companies for the commercial function. In 2015, they transitioned to Aptinyx Inc. as a Senior Manager and later an Associate Director, leading new product planning, strategic alliances, and alliance operations. Currently, they are working at Blueprint Medicines as a Director and then Senior Director of Alliance Management, overseeing research, development, and commercialization collaborations.

Michael Martin earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a focus on Corporate Finance and Consulting from the University of Notre Dame - Mendoza College of Business in 2012. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in History from the University of St. Thomas in 2001. Michael completed their secondary education at Servite High School from 1993 to 1997.
