Jan Masaryk

Jan Masaryk has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Jan currently holds the position of Vice President of Platform and CTO Deputy at Blueprint Power since February 2023. Prior to that, they served as the Lead System Engineer and CTO Deputy at the same company from January 2020 to January 2023.

Before joining Blueprint Power, Jan was the Co-Founder and CEO of MAKERS, s. r. o. from April 2017, where they played a crucial role in the company's establishment and growth.

From March 2016 to February 2016, Jan worked at Softec s.r.o. in various roles, including Director of Innovations & Product Development and Director of Telecommunications Systems Division. Jan also served as the Business Development Manager from July 2013 to February 2014.

Prior to Softec, Jan worked at Asseco Central Europe, a.s. for several years, holding positions such as Director of Coordination & Strategy Support, Coordination & Quality Manager, and Process Manager.

Jan's earlier career includes roles as a Senior System Engineer & Consultant at Siemens PSE from September 1999 to May 2004, a Software Engineer at Mogul Norge from May 1999 to August 1999, and a Software Engineer at EUnet Norge AS from August 1998 to April 1999.

Jan'scareer began as a System & Network Administrator at ECM ECO Monitoring from January 1997 to December 1997.

Jan Masaryk obtained a Master's degree (Dipl.-Ing.) in Information Technologies from Ekonomická univerzita v Bratislave, which they completed from 1993 to 1998. In addition, they obtained certifications in "How to Manage a Remote Team" from Coursera in January 2022 and "Understanding Your Google Cloud Platform (GCP) Costs" from Coursera in May 2020.
