Roger Deetz

Roger Deetz has extensive experience in engineering and technology leadership roles.

From 2021 to present, they are serving as the Vice President of Engineering at Blueprint.

From 2018 to 2021, Roger worked at Springbuk®. Roger started as the Vice President of Technology in August 2019 and then transitioned to the role of Vice President of Engineering in October 2018. In these positions, they led the Engineering organization during a period of growth, recruiting and hiring engineers, and overseeing critical projects to improve the data pipeline and implement predictive models.

From 2012 to 2018, Roger worked at ANGI Homeservices, starting as the Software Architect in June 2012. Roger then became the Director of Engineering in November 2014 and eventually advanced to the role of Vice President of Engineering in October 2017. During their time at ANGI Homeservices, they led multiple delivery teams, mentored and coached managers, and attracted and retained engineering talent.

Before that, from 2010 to 2012, Roger worked as the Senior Software Architect at Vision Solutions. Roger was responsible for organizing the visual design and software architecture efforts and developing an internal extensibility architecture.

From 2006 to 2010, Roger worked at Double-Take Software. Roger started as the Client Team Manager in September 2006 and then became the Software Architect in March 2007. As a Software Architect, they were responsible for ensuring consistent and high-quality user interfaces across the product line.

From 2005 to 2006, Roger worked as a Software Designer at NSI Software.

In 2004, they worked at NoInk as a Senior Software Developer, where they designed and implemented custom medical device registration forms and customized sales force automation applications.

Lastly, from 1998 to 2004, Roger worked at InstallShield, where they held various roles, including Architect, Visual Product Design, Senior User Interface Designer and Developer, and User Interface Developer. Roger contributed to the visual design, product strategy, and technical development of the InstallShield product line.

Roger Deetz attended Indiana University - Kelley School of Business from 1994 to 1998, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration. Roger'sprimary area of study was Computer Information Systems. During the same period, they also attended Indiana University Bloomington and earned another Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration, with a focus on Computer Information Systems.
