Brian Richards

Brian Richards has a diverse work experience in the biotechnology and consulting industries. Brian currently holds the position of Director of Cell Therapy Logistics at BlueRock Therapeutics. Prior to this, they worked at Bayer as part of the Cell + Gene Therapy Industrialization team. Before joining Bayer, Brian served as a Senior Life Science Consultant at L.E.K. Consulting. Brian also co-founded a small consulting business called Foresight Engineering & Consulting, where they focused on gene therapy manufacturing and helped clients design and build new manufacturing facilities. Brian began their career at Bayer as a Senior Plant Engineer and later transitioned to the role of Senior Project Engineer, where they successfully supported the commercial launch of Bayer's long-lasting Factor VIII product and executed major capital projects.

Brian Richards completed their education with a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from The Ohio State University in the years 2008 to 2013. Later, they pursued a Master of Business Administration degree from Duke University's Fuqua School of Business from 2018 to 2019. Additionally, they completed a Certificate Program in Project Management at the University of California, Berkeley from 2016 to 2017.
