Brett Teuscher

Brett Teuscher, MBA, CIA has extensive work experience in various finance and audit roles. Brett currently serves as the Director of Finance Transformation at BlueScope, leading teams across multiple business units to reduce complexity and cost, improve service levels, and enhance process efficiency. In their previous role as Integration Director, they oversaw integration activities across multiple workstreams, including operations, HR, finance, IT, and external partners.

Prior to joining BlueScope, Brett was the Director of Internal Audit for North America at BlueScope, where they developed and executed the annual audit plan using a risk-based approach and built strong relationships with business leaders to identify and mitigate risks. Brett also served as the Supervisory Committee Chairman at Coloramo Federal Credit Union, conducting evaluations of the credit union's financial performance and ensuring compliance with laws and regulations.

Earlier in their career, Brett worked as a Senior Manager of Internal Audit at UnitedHealth Group, a Finance Manager at Whirlpool Corporation, a Senior Internal Auditor at JCPenney, and an Auditor III at Utah State Tax Commission. In these roles, they gained expertise in risk assessment, financial analysis, and internal controls.

Brett holds an MBA degree and a CIA (Certified Internal Auditor) certification, highlighting their strong qualifications in finance and audit.

Brett Teuscher holds an MBA degree in Masters of Business Administration from Utah State University - Jon M. Huntsman School of Business, which they completed from 2010 to 2012. Brett also possesses a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from the same institution, which they obtained from 2004 to 2007. In addition to their degrees, Brett has obtained the Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) certification from The Institute of Internal Auditors Inc. in 2014. Brett has also acquired additional certifications, including the Google Data Analytics Professional Certificate from Coursera in 2021 and the Digital Transformation: Leading People, Data & Technology certification from Emeritus (obtained in 2023, month unspecified).
