Stuart Martin

Stuart Martin is an experienced engineering professional with 19 years in heavy industrial environments, currently serving as Engineering Manager at BlueScope since July 2021, where responsibilities include conducting a pre-feasibility study for a new continuous bucket elevator ship unloader for bulk commodities. Prior to BlueScope, Stuart was Area Manager for Surface Infrastructure at South32 and held various management roles, including Area Manager for Yard Machines at 360HR, where Stuart oversaw the Port Kembla Coal Terminal Upgrade Project. Stuart's background includes significant experience as an Associate and Senior Mechanical Engineer at Beca, managing process development at Sandvik Materials Technology, and leading major capital projects as a Senior Project Engineer at Gerdau Ameristeel. Educationally, Stuart holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Waterloo and completed a program at Ivey Business School at Western University in 1996.
