Joel Bakumbo

Joel Bakumbo is an experienced professional in the renewable energy sector, currently serving as the Representative of Bluesun Solar RDC et Afrique since October 2023, focusing on distribution partnerships in Africa, particularly in the Democratic Republic of Congo and Guinea. In addition, Joel Bakumbo has held the position of Principal Coordinator for the Communauté de Recherche pour l'Electricité en Énergie Renouvelable since May 2020, leading a youth association dedicated to supporting indigenous populations and rural communities. Furthermore, since October 2016, Joel Bakumbo has been the Administrative Manager at FACID ASBL, overseeing personnel management and operational balance. Previous experience includes an internship at STEG Tunisie in early 2022 and a reporting agent role at Fondation Maman de Yahuma from 2013 to 2015. Joel Bakumbo holds a degree in Industrial Electronics from MIT Polytech, earned in June 2023, and attended Université de Kinshasa between 2013 and 2015.
