Zac Nelson

Zac Nelson has a diverse work experience spanning over a decade. Zac started their career at Zions Bank in 2006 as an Assistant Relationship Officer, where they managed commercial loan portfolios and analyzed clients' creditworthiness. Zac then served as a Commercial Workout Officer, handling non-performing loans and working on bankruptcy cases.

In 2009, Zac took on more responsibilities at Zions Bank as the OREO Manager, overseeing the management and disposition of foreclosed properties located throughout the United States. Zac was also a Senior Commercial Portfolio Manager, where they managed a $145 million portfolio of commercial real estate loans and mitigated credit risks.

Moving up in their career, Zac became the Director of Business Banking and later the Region President for Northern Utah at Zions Bank. In these roles, they were responsible for developing business banking strategies and managing teams.

In 2022, Zac joined Bluevine as a Sr. Underwriting Manager, responsible for the analysis and underwriting of multi-million dollar commercial loans. Zac quickly progressed within the company, taking on roles such as Sr. Manager of Underwriting and Credit Ops, and currently serves as the Director of Underwriting, Credit Operations, and Collections.

Zac Nelson has a diverse education history. Zac obtained a Graduate Degree in Banking from the University of Washington - Pacific Coast Banking School from 2016 to 2018. Prior to that, they completed their Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Utah - David Eccles School of Business in 2013 as part of the Executive MBA Class of 2013.
