Michael Dowell

Michael Dowell has worked in a variety of roles in the media, product, and technical fields since 2000. From 2000-2001, they were a Storyboard Artist for BBC Television. From 2001-2008, they were the Art Department Chair at Barnhart School, a Product Manager at Moodoo Productions, Inc., and a Product Manager at LovBun & Friends. From 2008-2012, they were a Product Manager for Mobile Apps at App Indulge LLC. From 2012-2016, they were a Product Manager at Ten One Math. From 2016-2018, they were a Technical Project Manager at Upper Diamond - Learning | Marketing | Content. From 2020-2022, they were a Technical Project Manager at The Learning Academy, where they won two Brandon Hall Group Awards. Michael is currently a Product Manager at BlueVolt, where they are leading strategy on the Product Roadmap and collaborating on OKRs to increase annual revenue by $1 million.

Michael Dowell's education history includes a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Animation and Film from the California Institute of the Arts (1995-1998), a Bachelor of Arts in Communication and Media Studies from the University of Iowa (1991-1994), and attendance at the Youth Performing Arts High School (1987-1991).
