Erik Damhof

Erik Damhof currently serves as the Senior Structural Engineer (Lead) at Bluewater Energy Services, specializing in the structural design and review of various mooring systems and subsea structures. With extensive experience in the offshore and subsea engineering sectors, Erik has held senior engineering roles at prominent companies such as Seaway Heavy Lifting, Allseas, Airborne Oil & Gas B.V., McDermott Subsea, BigLift Shipping B.V., Tata Steel, GustoMSC, and Shell. Erik's notable accomplishments include leading the design for oil and gas platform decommissioning projects, developing composite subsea pipeline systems, and contributing to innovative concepts in drilling technology. Erik holds a PhD in Damage Mechanics from Eindhoven University of Technology and an MSc in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Twente.
