Toon Bakker

Toon Bakker is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in the oil and gas industry. Currently serving as Project Engineering Manager at Bluewater Energy Services since February 2017, Toon has previously held significant roles including Lead Engineer for Dredge Equipment at Royal IHC and Engineering Project Manager at SBM Offshore. Notable achievements include managing large engineering teams and overseeing complex projects such as the Ichthys Turret and refurbishment of Ngoma FPSO, ensuring high-quality engineering delivery on schedule and within budget. Toon holds a Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Eindhoven University of Technology and additional degrees from Hogeschool West-Brabant and ROC Westerschelde College.
