Rotem Sokolovsky

R&D Mechanical Engineer at BlueWind Medical

Rotem Sokolovsky has a diverse work experience in the field of mechanical engineering. They started their career as a Mechanical Design Engineer at Soreq NRC in 2018, where they handled multiple projects from concept to production. Their responsibilities included designing high vacuum systems, linear motion systems, and heat transfer experiments, using Solidworks CAD and managing them in PDM libraries. They also developed and presented designs according to technical design reviews. They held this position until May 2022. Prior to that, Rotem worked as a Student Mechanical Design Engineer at Soreq NRC from January 2018 to August 2019.

Before entering the industry, Rotem served in the Israeli Air Force as a Unit 669-Rescue Squad Commander from December 2009 to November 2013, gaining valuable leadership and team management skills.

Currently, Rotem is employed as an R&D Mechanical Engineer at BlueWind Medical, starting in May 2022.

Rotem Sokolovsky completed a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Ben-Gurion University of the Negev from 2015 to 2019. Following that, from 2019 to 2022, they pursued a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Tel Aviv University. In addition to their academic qualifications, Rotem obtained a certification in Data Analysis Program from monday U in July 2022. They also hold a certification as an Open Water Scuba Instructor from PADI, but the specific dates for obtaining this certification are not provided.
