Ellen Voie is the Founder and President/CEO of the Women In Trucking Association, established in 2007, with a mission to increase the representation of women in transportation careers, amassing over 5,400 members across ten countries. Previous experience includes serving as a Consultant at Truckstop.com, where responsibilities involved promoting corporate initiatives and event planning; as Manager of Recruiting and Retention Programs at Schneider National, identifying strategies to enhance driver retention; and as Executive Director of TRUCKER BUDDY INTERNATIONAL INC, where Ellen developed an internationally recognized pen pal program linking professional drivers with elementary classrooms. Additionally, Ellen has a background as a self-employed Transportation Consultant, aiding local trucking companies with regulatory compliance and vehicle licensing. Educational qualifications include a Master of Arts in Communication from the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point and various executive certificates from Penn State University in finance, strategic leadership, and customer experience.
