Siamak (Sam) Hashemi has a diverse and extensive work experience. Siamak (Sam) started their career as a Senior Test Engineer at Amtex International from 1987 to 1991, where they were responsible for programming and performing In-Circuit tests of embedded systems and providing test documentation for customers.
Siamak (Sam) then moved on to ServoTech Engineering & Manufacturing in 1992, where they worked as a Sr. Engineer. In this role, they focused on data analysis and statistical modeling of emissions data, as well as writing application-specific programs for on-board computers. Siamak (Sam) also calibrated a 1.2l T-Diesel vehicle with 49 mpg and PZEV emissions for PNGV.
At Ford, Hashemi held various roles and responsibilities, including a Calibration Technical Specialist (Team Leader) from 2001 to 2006, where they developed, calibrated, and launched a fleet of Supercharged H2 ICE shuttle buses. Siamak (Sam) also served as a Technical Specialist from 2006 to 2013, leading systems engineering, vehicle integration, software implementation, DV testing, and development of various projects, including PHEV, BEV, Direct Injection Modular Hybrid Transmission, and Micro Hybrid System.

Siamak (Sam) began by completing a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Lawrence Technological University, from 1985 to 1987. After some time, they pursued further studies in the same field and obtained a Master of Science degree from the University of Michigan, completing it between 2000 and 2001. Later, Siamak attended the University of Detroit Mercy to focus on gaining knowledge in Vehicle Electrification.
