Computer Vision Software Developer at Bluewrist

Mario Barrientos has worked in the software engineering and development field since 2011. From 2011 to 2014, they were a Software Test Engineer at Hildebrando, where they performed manual and automated testing for the TI-Nspire Calculator and the TI-Nspire Software. Mario wrote test plans and test cases based on software requirements specifications. From 2014 to 2018, they worked as a Mathematician at Matter and Form Inc., where they implemented C++ 3D-scanning libraries used by the Matter and Form 3D Scanner and Bevel. Mario also designed benchmarks and generated datasets to test the performance and accuracy of algorithms. Most recently, they have been working as a Computer Vision Software Developer at Bluewrist Inc. since 2018, where they are responsible for designing, developing and maintaining industrial vision systems. Mario also develops CV tools using 3D and 2D data for Quality Assurance and Bin Picking projects.

Mario Barrientos obtained a Bachelor's degree in Applied Mathematics from Universidad Autónoma de Coahuila between 2004 and 2009. Mario then went on to pursue a Master of Science in Applied Computing from the University of Toronto, which they completed in 2015.
