Dave Murillo

Dave Murillo has over 16 years of experience in the manufacturing industry. In 2022, they were appointed CFO/COO of BluEyeQ LLC. From 2014-2022, they served as Director of Operations, Finance & Supply Chain and Director of Operations at Swagelok North Carolina | East Tennessee. During this time, they facilitated 50% sales growth while maintaining one of the highest revenue dollar per FTE ratios of any Swagelok distributorship. Dave also project managed the implementation of SAP Business One ERP software and led efforts to develop key financial controls, establish favorable banking/merchant provider contracts, accomplish PCI compliance, and improve processes and escalations for AR collections. From 2008-2014, they were Engineering Manager at Controls Southeast / AMETEK, where they built the Design Engineering department to an organization of 20 mechanical engineers, designers, and technicians integral to 60% revenue growth over five years. From 2006-2008, they served as Technical Service Director at Wellman, where they managed an industry-leading service organization responsible for performance of more than 1 billion pounds of PET resin and fiber at over 200 customers. Dave also provided direction of corporate product development & quality efforts to meet customer & market needs. Prior roles included Plant Process Engineer, R&D Engineer, and Technical Service Representative.

Dave Murillo holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, where they studied Management. Dave also holds a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from The University of Akron.
