Matthew Collins is an experienced electrical designer currently working at Blum Consulting Engineers, Inc. since October 2018. Previously, Matthew held roles at Tenaska Power Services Co, where responsibilities included modeling energy markets and conducting Financial Transmission Right analysis as a Trading Analyst. As a Power/Energy Engineer, Matthew managed a 24/7 real-time desk for major energy markets, providing critical analysis to ensure reliable operations. Matthew's early career involved research assistance at Southern Methodist University, consulting for the International Patent Licensing Company, and interning at Jacobs Engineering Group, focusing on electrical system design. Matthew holds a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Southern Methodist University and a Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering with a minor in Mathematics from Baylor University.
