Clare Murray

Clare Murray began their work experience as a Financial Investment Professional at Goldman Sachs from June 2010 to November 2012. Clare then transitioned to BlackRock, where they held multiple roles including Associate in Corporate Strategy & Finance from November 2012 to July 2013, and later Vice President in Institutional Sales & Sustainable Investing from August 2013 to May 2017. Clare then worked at LeapFrog Investments as part of the Corporate Strategy team from June 2017 to January 2020. Afterward, they joined BlackRock again, this time building out the BlackRock Alternative Investors Sustainable Investing team and function from March 2020 to November 2020. Currently, they serve as a Co-Founding Partner at Blume Equity, a climate-tech growth equity firm that invests in companies driving sustainable outcomes for the planet and people.

Clare Murray holds a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree in Executive MBA from Columbia Business School, as well as a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree from Duke University. Clare also has additional certifications including Series 66 from Finra Corp. obtained in March 2010, and Series 7 from the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA).
