Rich Schmidt

Rich Schmidt has a strong background in hydrogeology, with extensive work experience in various companies. Rich began their career at Roux as a Staff Hydrogeologist from 1992 to 1995. Rich then joined Geomega as a Senior Hydrogeologist from 1995 to 1997. Following this, they worked at Klohn Crippen Berger as a Hydrogeologist from 1997 to 1999. Rich then moved to Knight Piesold, where they held the position of Senior Hydrogeologist from 1999 to 2002. Currently, they are working at BluMetric Environmental Inc. as a Vice President and Senior Hydrogeologist since November 2019. Prior to this, they were a Senior Hydrogeologist at the same company from 2002 to November 2019.

Rich Schmidt completed their Bachelor of Mathematics, B.Math. degree in Joint Honours Computer Science and Applied Mathematics at the University of Waterloo from 1985 to 1990. Rich then pursued their Master of Science, M.Sc. degree in Earth Science with a focus on Hydrogeology at the same university from 1990 to 1994. Additionally, Rich Schmidt holds a certification as a Professional Geoscientist, P.Geo. from the Professional Geoscientists Ontario.
