Estian Crous

Estian Crous is an accomplished data science professional with extensive experience in the telecommunications and retail sectors. Currently serving as the Head of Data Science for Telecoms at BluNOVA since November 2024, Estian previously held the role of Head of Data Science at Woolworths and worked at Vodacom where roles included Executive Head: Lead Data Scientist and Senior Data Scientist. Estian's career also includes experience as a Data Scientist at Booking.com and JustEnough Software Corporation, where responsibilities involved developing mathematical models and managing technical solutions. Earlier roles include Financial Modeller at Bayport Financial Services Group, Senior Pricing Analyst at Alexander Forbes, and Actuarial Analyst at Platinum Living. Estian holds a BSc Hons in Financial Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Actuarial Science from the University of Pretoria.
