Gavin Reuben

Gavin Reuben is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in financial technology and data analytics. Currently serving as Chief Executive Officer at BluAdvance since June 2024, Gavin focuses on enhancing access to microfinancial services for South African consumers through a cloud-enabled digital platform. As Chief Information Officer at BluNova since August 2019, Gavin plays a pivotal role in data consolidation and decision-making processes within the Blue Label Telecoms group, striving to reduce inequality in financial transactions. Previous roles include Head of Data Innovation at Absa Group and various positions at SEACOM LTD and Internet Solutions, where expertise in product management and connectivity has been demonstrated. Gavin holds a PGDIP/MBA from GIBS Business School and has a strong educational background in electrical engineering and business administration.
