Val I. Khayyo

Val I. Khayyo, PhD, is a seasoned professional in the fields of biochemistry and structural biology, currently serving as a Senior Medical Writer at BluPrint Oncology since March 2022. Previously, Val worked as a Scientific Associate at ProEd Communications and as a Graduate Student Researcher at Stony Brook University, where extensive research focused on enzyme structure and function related to lipid metabolism and metabolic disorders. Val also has experience in teaching, having served as a Graduate Teaching Assistant and Adjunct Chemistry Lab Technician at various educational institutions. Additional roles include a Research Assistant at the James J. Peters Bronx Veteran Medical Center and a Tutor at College of Mount Saint Vincent. Val holds a PhD in Biochemistry and Structural Biology from Stony Brook University and a Bachelor's degree in Biochemistry from the College of Mount Saint Vincent.
