Ali Rıza Pınar

Ali Rachidi is an Assistant Research Scientist at The Johns Hopkins University since October 2022, with previous experience as a Machine Learning Engineer at Sonavi Labs, Inc., where Ali designed advanced networks for medical sound analysis and contributed to FDA approval processes. Ali has also served as a Graduate Student Researcher, focusing on lung sound analysis, and held multiple roles during academic tenure, including course assistant and personal trainer. Prior internships at Barclays and CIH BANK involved software engineering and computer vision development, while earlier experience includes co-directing an early-stage tech accelerator and teaching in underserved communities. Ali earned a Master's in Computer Science and a Bachelor's in Computer Science and International Studies from The Johns Hopkins University.
