Pete Gardiner has a diverse work experience spanning over several decades. Pete began their career at Our Price Music, where they worked as a Sales Assistant, Store Manager, and Buying Manager from 1980 to 1990. Pete then moved on to Blockbuster, where they held the role of Buying Manager from 1990 to 1992. After that, they worked at Castle Music as the General Manager of Video from 1992 to 1995. Gardiner then joined Dino Music and served as their Commercial Director from 1995 to 1997. Following that, they established their own company, Razorhead Productions, and acted as its Owner from 1997 to 2009. Gardiner then joined Union Square Music Ltd as the Head of Rights Exploitation from 2009 to 2014. Since 2014, they have been working for BMG Rights Management, initially as the VP of Global Licensing - Masters Catalogue BMG UK - The New Music Company, and currently as the VP of Global Licensing - Masters Catalogue.
Pete Gardiner attended DIHE in Bournemouth from 1979 to 1981, where they earned an HND in tourism. Prior to that, they attended Cricklade 6th Form College in Andover from 1977 to 1979, and Cooper School Bicester from 1972 to 1977.
