Donald Cosgrove

Donald Cosgrove is an experienced music educator currently serving as MYP Secondary Music teacher at Bishop Mackenzie International School since June 2019 and as a Secondary Instrumental Music Teacher at The American School in Japan since July 2016. Cosgrove teaches a diverse range of classes for students in grades 6-12, including large beginning band classes, a jazz band, high school concert band, and guitar classes. Previous roles include Secondary Music Teacher at The International School of Kuala Lumpur and Band Director at Anchorage School District and Tri County School District, where responsibilities encompassed teaching various music courses, leading ensembles, and directing bands. Donald Cosgrove holds a Bachelor of Music Education degree from Cornell College and has pursued additional education at the University of Alaska Fairbanks and the University of Northern Iowa.
