Ellen M. Chang is an accomplished leader in the fields of innovation, investment, and defense, currently serving as Vice President of Ventures and Head of H4XLabs at BMNT since October 2018. In this capacity, Ellen oversees a transformation strategy and value creation roadmap in partnership with government executives while managing full P/L responsibility. As a Founding/Managing Partner at Syndicate 708, Ellen facilitates investments in Deep Tech companies. Ellen also holds the position of Managing Director of Defense Infrastructure at CapZone Impact Investments LLC and serves on the Board of Directors for Cypre Inc., a biotech startup focused on cancer immunotherapy. A co-founder and co-president of Wharton Aerospace, Ellen brings extensive experience from previous roles, including Vice President of Operations at Cognitive Medical Systems and Director at Northrop Grumman’s Unmanned Systems Division. With a strong academic background, including an MBA from The Wharton School and a Master of Science from the Naval Postgraduate School, Ellen has a notable history as a Naval Officer and continues to impact multiple industries through leadership and innovation.
