Tom Nelson

Tom Nelson is an experienced leader in the fields of national security and technology, currently serving as Vice President and Chief of Staff at BMNT since January 2017. Previously, Tom co-founded Talos IO, which aimed to assist the US Government in combating violent extremism on social media through innovative natural language processing solutions. Notable prior roles include Director at US Army Cyber Command, where Tom established the Future Operations Division and led strategic initiatives, and serving as a Strategic Advisor with the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff. Tom holds multiple degrees, including a Master of Science in Economics from Budapest University and a Bachelor of Science in Economics from the United States Military Academy at West Point.
