Guillermo Vicandi has a long history of professional experience. Guillermo began their career in 1999 as a Delegate of the Commission of Social Affairs for the Model European Parliament. Guillermo then went on to become President of the General Assembly and President of the Commission of Foreign Affairs for the Model European Parliament in 2000. In 2009, they were a Delegate of the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid for the World Model United Nations. In 2010, they were an Organizer/Founder for the Madrid Puerta de Europa Assembly, a program of debates and spreading of European issues. From 2011 to 2012, they were a Junior at Moscardó Abogados SLP and an Analyst Corporate & Investment Banking at BBVA, where they were involved in structured finance, project finance energy, business origination, customer relationship and deal negotiation and execution of international and domestic tailor-made structured finance and acquisition finance deals. From 2011 to 2017, they were a Mentor at Tetuan Valley, where they mentored entrepreneurs on how to capitalize a startup and different models to bring money to a startup, from a legal perspective. Since 2016, they have been a Senior Associate at ING and a Co-Founder at BNEXT.
Guillermo Vicandi has a comprehensive educational background, beginning with a Bachelor of Business Administration from Universidad Autónoma de Madrid in 2011. Guillermo then completed a Course of Competences and International Law at IESE Business School in 2009, and an MSc Finance at Université Paris Dauphine - PSL in 2010. In 2014, they completed a Construcción de Modelos y Análisis de Proyecciones Financieras at IEB, and prior to that, they obtained a degree in Industrial Engineering from Universidad Politécnica de Madrid in 2005.
