Radu Zaharia

Radu Zaharia is an experienced technology leader currently serving as a Java Team Leader at BNP Paribas in Bucharest since August 2023, responsible for team development, application maintenance, and fostering collaboration within the organization. Prior to this role, Radu held various leadership positions at Ericsson over a span of 16 years, including Team Leader of the BSS&CRM team and Technical Manager for Multimedia Services. Radu's earlier experience includes technical management roles at SOFTWIN and TopHelp SRL, focusing on Java Enterprise technologies and ERP solutions. Radu began a career as a software developer at Rational Software SRL and Finsiel Romania SRL, leading J2EE application projects, and contributed as an IT Consultant for the UNDP. Radu holds a Bachelor's degree in Informatics and a Master's degree in Physics from the University of Bucharest, with a background in teaching as an Assistant Professor at the same institution.
