Abhijit Bhattacharya

Abhijit Bhattacharya currently serves as the Head of Integrated Solutions Products for Treasury Services at BNY, starting in November 2024, focusing on integrating top-tier treasury products for clients. Previously, Abhijit was the Chief Technology Officer at Optus Bank from May 2022 to November 2024, on secondment from Citi, where the role involved direct reporting to the CEO. During a longer tenure at Citi from June 2016 to November 2024, Abhijit held multiple positions, including Global Head of Engineering for FinTech Open Banking and an executive secondment as CTO at Optus Bank. Prior experience includes leading software engineering teams at Asurion, Apple, and Freescale Semiconductor, where significant contributions to product innovation, engineering management, and software infrastructure were made. Abhijit holds a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology and a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the University of Illinois Chicago.
