Brett Smith

Brett Smith, CISSP, CRISC, currently serves as the Director of Next Generation Cyber Technology at BNY Mellon since October 2019, and has previously held roles such as VP of Next Generation Security and Cyber Security Consultant, focusing on information security and third-party risk programs. Prior experience includes Senior Vice President at Citi, overseeing operational risk management and information security, and VP positions at Deutsche Bank, where responsibilities encompassed electronic communications governance and IT risk management. Additional roles include CERT Coordinator at Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield of NJ and Technology Architect at AT&T Labs. Brett Smith holds a diploma in college prep from Cupeyville and a degree from the Universidad de Puerto Rico.
