Creade V. Brodie, Jr.

Creade V. Brodie, Jr. was first elected to the Board of County Commissioners of Allegany County, Maryland, in 2010 for a four-year term. He was re-elected in 2014 and again in 2018.

Commissioner Brodie is a graduate of Beall High School, Frostburg, Maryland. He is a Fellow of The Academy for Excellence in Local Governance, a professional development program associated with the University of Maryland School of Public Policy.

Commissioner Brodie is a 20+ year employee of the LaVale (Maryland) Sanitary Commission and is the Maintenance Supervisor.

During this term in office, Commissioner Brodie and his fellow County Commissioners serve on the Allegany County Board of Health. Commissioner Brodie also Serves on the Tri-County Council for Western Maryland, Inc. Board of Directors and the Potomac Highlands Airport Authority (Greater Cumberland Regional Airport). Commissioner Brodie also is a member of the Allegany County Human Resources Development Commission and the United States Department of Justice, Federal Bureau of Prisons, Federal Correctional Institution Community Relations Board.
