John Roberts

John Roberts is a seasoned geologist with extensive experience in commercial management and project coordination within the mining and construction industries. Currently serving as Regional Commercial Manager and previously as Commercial Manager for Surface & UG Core at Boart Longyear since September 2017, John has demonstrated leadership in driving commercial initiatives. Prior roles include Geologist at NewFields and AMEC Environment & Infrastructure UK Limited, where responsibilities encompassed the coordination of drilling activities and geotechnical solutions. A strong foundation in geotechnical and hydrogeological problem-solving was established during tenure as Staff Geologist at Geohazards, Inc., where field investigations and repairs were conducted. John holds a Bachelor of Science in Geology from the University of Florida and an Associate's degree in General Studies from Florida State College at Jacksonville.
