Michael S.

Michael S. has over 20 years of work experience in the technology industry. Michael started their career in 2000 as a Senior Developer at Choice One Online, where they managed the corporate intranet and led the company to adopting web standards. From 2003 to 2010, they were the Owner and Lead Engineer at Propaganda By Design, designing and developing web and mobile applications for small and large businesses. During this time, they also worked as a Contract Developer at Ryan Partnership from 2005 to 2010, and a Technical Consultant at ClearScale from 2010 to 2011. From 2011 to 2017, they served as the Director of Software Engineering at Red Ventures, overseeing the technology strategy and engineering teams for a number of business verticals and partnerships. Michael then moved to MYMOVE, LLC as the Director of Software Engineering in 2017, driving technology strategy and architectural direction for the company. In 2018, they joined NetFoundry as the Associate Director, Software Engineering and Architecture, breaking up distributed monoliths to sets of microservices and architecting and developing multiple microservices. Finally, from 2019 to 2022, they served as the Executive Vice President Technology and Engineering and Vice President Of Engineering at Caring.com.
