Ross Mead

Ross Mead is an accomplished entrepreneur and technology leader, currently serving as the Founder and CEO of Semio, a Los Angeles-based software startup focused on the integration of personal robots into daily life. As Vice President of AI LA, Ross fosters a community of over 6,000 AI stakeholders, exploring the implications of artificial intelligence and frontier technologies. Additionally, Ross holds the position of Secretary on the Board of Directors at the KISS Institute for Practical Robotics, which provides educational robotics programs. As a Business Advisor to Facepunk, Ross contributes to the development of AI-driven facial data processing solutions. Ross is also a Co-Founder and Head of Product at Bobble Sports, where the team utilizes AI to enhance fan engagement during broadcasts. Ross holds a PhD and an MS in Computer Science from the University of Southern California and a BS in Computer Science from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville.
