Dominic Marino, DVM, DACVS, DACCT, CCRP, EMT, serves as an Emergency Medical Technician for New York State since June 2022 and has been the Chief of Staff at Long Island Veterinary Specialists since June 1998. Additionally, Dominic holds the rank of Major in the United States Army Reserves and has served as President of the Suffolk County Sheriff’s Foundation and Special Deputy Sheriff at the Suffolk County Sheriff's Office since June 2020. Dominic has contributed to veterinary education as an Assistant Professor of Small Animal Surgery at Long Island University College of Veterinary Medicine since June 2019 and is an active member of the Board of Trustees for the Bobby Jones Chiari & Syringomyelia Foundation since June 2002, as well as President of the One Medicine Foundation since July 2000. Dominic's educational background includes a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Auburn University, a Small Animal Rotating Internship at the University of Georgia, and a Small Animal Surgery Residency at The Animal Medical Center.
