Joni Williams

Joni Williams, MA, has extensive experience in marketing, communications, and project management. Currently serving as the Director of Marketing and Communications at the Board of Certification for the Athletic Trainer since April 2020, Joni previously held roles such as Senior Manager and Content Writer & Editor. Prior positions include Content Strategist at Signature Performance, Inc., Senior Project Manager at The MSR Group, and Account Service Manager at Zaiss & Company. Joni’s early career involved significant leadership as Executive Director at the Appraisal Institute, overseeing administrative and promotional efforts, event planning, and communications. Joni holds a Master’s degree in Association/Nonprofit Management from The George Washington University and a BA in Advertising/Journalism/Marketing from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.
