Silvério de Sousa Mendes

Silvério de Sousa Mendes has had a long and successful career in business. From 2000 to 2015, they worked at TV Cabo Portugal as Marketing Supervisor, where they were responsible for telemarketing, marketing and business development, online store, customer support, customer loyalty, and the “SAPO Challenge” - PT Escolas. From 2008 to 2010, they were a Consultant, Board Member, and Secretary General at Escola Universitária Vasco da Gama. From 2008 to 2019, they were the Marketing & Business Development Director at Take The Wind, a strategic partner of many high-profile companies in Europe, Latin America and the United States. Since 2019, they have been the President of the General Council and a Member of the General Council at Fundação Aristides de Sousa Mendes, a foundation dedicated to honoring the memory of the Holocaust rescuer Aristides de Sousa Mendes and to educating the world about their good work. Since 2015, they have also been the Chief Business Officer at Body Interact Inc, a global company delivering clinical education systems through simulation with life-like virtual patients.

Silvério de Sousa Mendes received a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering from the Universidade de Coimbra in 1994. Silvério then pursued a Master Degree in Marketing from the FEUC - Faculdade de Economia da Universidade de Coimbra in 2014 and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Management from the same institution in 2013. In August 2020, they obtained a Pedagogical Competences Certificate (Certificado de Competências Pedagógicas) from the IEFP.
