Cord Tomforde

Cord Tomforde is an experienced engineering professional currently serving as the Head of Engineering Production APIs and Head of Process Supervision API Finishing at Boehringer Ingelheim since March 2021. Prior to this role, Cord worked at K+S Gruppe from May 2016 to February 2021 in process engineering and process plant design, following a position as a scientific employee at Universität Kassel from February 2011 to April 2016. Earlier experience includes roles at Leibniz Universität Hannover and a brief internship at Bayer in 2009. Cord holds a Doktor degree in Maschinenbau from the University of Kassel (2011-2018) and a Diplom-Ingenieur in Maschinenbau from Leibniz Universität Hannover (2004-2010), with additional studies at Purdue University from 2008 to 2009.
