Dr. Ullrich Scheid

Dr. Ullrich Scheid currently serves as the Team Lead for Product Quality Management Injectables at Boehringer Ingelheim since April 2022, overseeing end-to-end product quality for injectable products throughout their lifecycle. Prior to this role, Dr. Scheid was the Head of QC Drug Product & Medical Device at AbbVie from October 2020 to March 2022, where responsibilities included managing QC labs and optimizing processes under LEAN principles. Dr. Scheid also held multiple managerial positions at Roche from October 2015 to October 2020, focusing on analytical testing and QC transformation. Earlier experiences include a PhD at the Helmholtz-Institute for Pharmaceutical Research, practical training as a pharmacist, and an internship in a biotech company. Dr. Scheid holds a Staatsexamen in Pharmacy from Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München and completed further education at Universität des Saarlandes.
