Fatou Sow

Fatou Sow currently serves as Head of Immunology Research for Non Infectious Diseases and General Manager of Boehringer Ingelheim Veterinary Medicine Belgium. In these roles, Fatou Sow provides strategic leadership to a global team focused on inflammatory and immune-mediated diseases while fostering partnerships within and outside the organization to advance innovative research. Prior experience includes positions such as Global Research Leader at Boehringer Ingelheim and Senior Research Scientist at Elanco, where Fatou Sow led cross-functional teams in the development of therapeutic products. Fatou Sow's academic background includes a Doctor of Philosophy in Microbiology and Immunology and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from The Ohio State University, complemented by postdoctoral research roles at renowned institutions such as the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and Iowa State University.
